Tigers, Raiders, square off in Eastern Conference Finals rematch

Oct 3, 2026 | 12:18 PM

The Medicine Hat Tigers (3-1-0-0) take on the Prince Albert Raiders (2-4-0-0) in the lone game of the week for the Orange and Black as they battle in a rematch of last year’s Eastern Conference Finals.

The Tigers return after a six-day hiatus, following a split of their two-game Central Division road trip last weekend against the Red Deer Rebels and Edmonton Oil Kings.

Prince Albert will enter Co-op Place tonight on the tail end of a three games in four night stretch which began with a 4-1 win over the Rebels, followed by a 3-1 loss against the Lethbridge Hurricanes last night.

Medicine Hat fell to the Raiders in last year’s Eastern Conference Finals in six games and will face them tonight for the first time since Prince Albert eliminated the then-defending champion Tigers.

Now with a full week of practice under their belts, the Ruck Twins and Yaroslav Bryzgalov are expected to be back to full form in the Tiger lineup after all three returned from NHL Training Camps late last week.

Bryzgalov had a pair of goals in the Tabbies 5-2 win over Edmonton, while the Rucks combined for the club’s lone goal in their 3-1 loss to the Rebels.

Puck drop from Co-op Place goes at 7:00 p.m. MST, the pre-game show begins at 6:30 on WILD 94.5 FM.
