What’s on for Family Day in Medicine Hat

Free drop in activities include:

Public skating in the Cenovus Arena, Noon-1 p.m., 1:30-2:30 p.m., and 3-4 p.m.
Tot time will be set up an indoor playground across two gym quadrants.
An inflatable adventure zone will be set up in Fieldhouse One.
Floor hockey for older kids and adults will be set up in a gym quadrant.
The Big Marble Farms Discovery Centre will be set up with a hands-on learning zone, fun prizes, a photo booth and fresh produce.
Yard Games will be set up in another gym quadrant.
Quiet room activities will take place in the play room.

🌲Family Day in Police Point Park

Bundle up and bring the family down to enjoy the 17th annual Family Day in Police Point Park, partnered with the Medicine Hat Kiwanis Club.

From 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., everyone is welcome to attend and enjoy a free scavenger hunt. Also included is:

Build your own wildlife kit: build a bird feeder, wren house or robin shelf – $8.00
Hot dog roast by the fire – $1.00
Complimentary hot chocolate and cookies

With additional funding from the City of Medicine Hat Community Vibrancy Grant, it will help the day be even more special for the community.

🏀Free Family Fun Day

The YMCA of Southeastern Alberta is hosting a variety of free activities from noon to 4 p.m.

Nerf Wars
Bouncy castles
Family stretch
Crafts
Rock wall
Photo contest, with a chance to win a free family membership for 2025

A free lunch is also offered. A mandatory waiver for the event can be signed beforehand.
