Fixing the housing crisis here at home; Strong Towns workshop this week

MEDICINE HAT — The President of the Strong Towns organization will be in Medicine Hat this week, as part of the ongoing initiative that began last January.

Charles Marohn will attend the third workshop in a series of three for the Community Action Lab sponsored by the City of Medicine Hat.

The Local Action Team has been working with other community members to develop solutions that address the needs of the community.

The discussion will focus on housing, including skyrocketing rent and factors that are putting home ownership out of the question for people at many stages of life.

The event, titled “Fixing the housing crisis here at home” will begin at 7 pm on November 29th at the Esplanade Arts and Heritage Centre.
