Brooks RCMP respond to weapons complaint, collision and release breach over two days
Brooks RCMP responded to a weapons complaint, a two-vehicle collision and an arrest involving an alleged breach of release conditions over a two-day period.
At about 3:45 p.m. on Sept. 22, police received a report of a man swinging a metal pipe in Evergreen Park.
Officers located the man and observed him swinging the pipe in a manner resembling a sword, although police said he was not threatening anyone with it.
The man dropped the pipe and apologized to officers when they arrived, but was arrested for public intoxication and held until he was sober before being released.
