Medicine Hat records Alberta’s hottest temperature for second straight day

Medicine Hat was Alberta’s hot spot for a second consecutive day Wednesday, as temperatures climbed above 26 C.

The city recorded a high of 26.4 C. It was not the hottest spot in Canada, however. That distinction went to Rosetown, Sask., where temperatures reached 28.3 C.

Medicine Hat recorded Canada’s highest temperature Tuesday, reaching 28.1 C.

The warm conditions come as above-normal temperatures continue across parts of southern Alberta.
