Fauth and Labash recorded the fastest time in the men’s over-40 Tech2 category to claim the championship trophy.

According to the team, Iron Horse has now won the Tech2 trophy more times than any other team and has dominated the category for the past decade.

The Medicine Hat team also earned a silver medal in the men’s over-40 team relay.

FireFit competitions combine a series of physically demanding tasks designed to simulate the work performed by firefighters, testing competitors’ speed, strength and endurance.

The Medicine Hat team says its success comes from years of training, sacrifice and consistency. They also emphasized that the championships give firefighters from across Canada a chance to build friendships and share experiences.

Team Iron Horse thanked organizers and the other competitors following the event.
