Four Medicine Hat Tigers players bringing home medals from Hlinka Gretzky Cup

A pair of Medicine Hat Tigers players have won gold at the 2025 Hlinka Gretzky Cup with Team USA.

Forwards Shaeffer Gordon-Carroll and Noah Davidson were victorious in the championship game of the tournament on Saturday with the Americans 5-3 win over Sweden.

It is the first time USA has won the tournament since 2003, and only their second title at the event.

Davidson had a goal and an assists for the Americans in the championship game. He would have six points with three goals and three assists through five games at the tournament.

Gordon-Carroll who was an alternate captain for the Americans had a goal and an assist through five games.

The Tigers also had a pair of bronze medal winners in Canadian forwards Markus and Liam Ruck, with Team Canada defeating Finland 3-0 on Saturday.

During the tournaments five games Markus had four assists, while Liam had three points with a pair of goals and an assist.
