Three charged after vehicle theft in Brooks

Three people are facing charges after a stolen truck was recovered in Brooks.

Brooks RCMP assisted City Peace Officers at about 2:18 p.m. on Friday afternoon regarding an occupied stolen truck, located at the Brooks Fire Hall.

Upon arrival, Mounties arrested all three occupants of the vehicle.

A search of the truck resulted in the discovery of methamphetamine.

The driver, a 38-year old man of no fixed address, has been charged with possession of stolen property.

He has been remanded into custody and is scheduled to appear in court Wednesday.

The two other suspects, both adult females from Foremost, were charged with possession of stolen property and released from custody.

They are both scheduled to appear in court on August 27.
