Jun 26, 2025 | 9:43 AM

The Ag Connections Conference is returning to the Medicine Hat Exhibition & Stampede Grounds for a third year this fall.

Hosted by Cypress County and Palliser Economic Partnership, it will look to have continued growth after 337 attended in year one and 448 in year two.

Organizers say the event is Alberta’s largest professional development conference for primary producers, with attendees from southern Alberta and Saskatchewan.

“We’re proud to see Ag Connections grow into a must-attend event for our cattle and crop producers,” said Beth Cash, event planner and economic development officer at Cypress County.

“This conference is all about bringing people together – whether it’s to learn something new, share ideas, or just connect with others who understand what it is like to be in agriculture,” she added.

“We’ve built this event with the producer in mind, and we’re excited to keep raising the bar.”

A pair of keynote speakers have been announced.

Comedian and mental health advocate Jessica Holmes, along with the founder of RealAgriculture and host of RealAg Radio Shaun Haney.

Haney will present, “5 Things to Watch in Canadian Agriculture.”

The host of the The Rural Woman Podcast Katelyn Duban will be the emcee of the event.

The full-day event will feature breakout sessions, expert panel discussions, over 50 exhibitors, networking opportunities, door prizes, and meals- all included with admission.

Early bird tickets go on sale Tuesday, July 2 at cypresscountybusiness.ca for $55 .

The event is still adding sponsors, exhibitors and speakers, with Beth Cash as the contact at beth.cash@cypress.ab.ca.
