Medicine Hat Mavericks reschedule games postponed by rain

The Medicine Hat Mavericks have narrowed down new dates for their rescheduled games from the weekend.

The Mavs will now play the Moose Jaw Miller Express on Thursday, July 10 and the Saskatoon Berries on Monday, July 14.

Both games at Athletic Park will have a regular 7:05 p.m. start time.

Rain in Medicine Hat cancelled the games set to be played on Friday and Saturday.

The team said that previously purchased tickets will be valid for the make up date games.

A two game road trip to Saskatchewan for a pair of games against the Weyburn Beavers starts Tuesday night for the Mavs.

Winning four straight the Mavericks sit at 15-6 on the season, two and a half game back of the Saskatoon Berries for first in the Western Canadian Baseball League‘s East Division.

The next game at Athletic Park for the Mavs will be Thursday against the Regina Red Sox.
