More precipitation expected for Medicine Hat this week

Medicine Hat received 23.5 mm of precipitation Friday through Sunday according to weatherstats.ca.

This is significantly less that the 40 mm or more predicted by Environment Canada headed into the weekend.

Friday had 4.9 mm, 17.6 mm came down Saturday, while only one mm fell Sunday.

It’s the first moisture reported in Medicine Hat since June 12 when 4.1 mm fell.

More rain is predicted by Environment Canada for Medicine Hat on Monday and Tuesday.

The long range forecast from Environment Canada has a 60 per cent chance of showers on Friday.
