Alberta provides over $1 M for school building projects in province, Medicine Hat included
Medicine Hat Catholic Board of Education and Medicine Hat Public School Division will receive pre-planning funding from Alberta’s government for future school building projects.
The province said Friday that by providing pre-planning funding to school boards, it’s helping ensure proposed projects are ready to go to the next step of construction processes.
Alberta is providing $1.1 million to 24 projects throughout the province, to help school boards develop plans for building projects.
A pre-planning approval typically provides $50,000 in funding, but the province said it can vary depending on required pre-planning activities.
