Snowfall warning for Cypress Hills Interprovincial Park area

A snowfall warning in effect for areas of Cypress County and near Maple Creek. Heavy snow will fall over the Cypress Hills tonight into Wednesday, tapering off Wednesday evening.

Snowfall with total amounts of 10 to 20 cm is expected in areas mainly south east of Medicine Hat, that stretches across both provincial areas of Cypress Hills Interprovincial Park.

Gusty winds may cause blowing snow, further reducing visibility.

Rapidly accumulating snow could make travel difficult over some locations.
