Medicine Hat’s finance director bumped up to interim corporate services head

The City of Medicine Hat has found a temporary replacement for its outgoing corporate services head Dennis Egert.
Lola Barta, who worked as head of the finance department under Egert, will be the interim managing director of corporate services.
Egert, who was the city’s chief financial officer, appeared to suddenly exit the role last Friday, as first reported by CHAT News.
While there are rumours around his exit, CHAT News has been unable to verify the set of circumstances around the departure.
