Records continue to be set in Alberta as the province-wide heat warning remains in effect.
Environment Canada says a ridge of high pressure brought record-setting heat to much of Alberta on Wednesday. That resulted in new heat records in 29 communities.
Among those, Brooks got the hottest at 37.3 degrees Celsius, breaking its previous record from 1973.
In Red Deer, it was the hottest July 10 since 1906, 118 years ago. The city reached 34.3 C.
