A former school teacher in Maple Creek is facing additional charges of sexual assault and sexual interference.

Dexter Bacsu was arrested for a third time on March 21, after another report of a fourth historical sexual assault.

He was first arrested in April of last year after Mounties received a complaint about an offense in the early 2000s while on a sports-related trip.

A second arrest followed days later and RCMP continue to believe there may be other victims.

A pre-trial conference on the earlier charges has been scheduled for May 14 at the Court of Kings Bench in Swift Current.

Bacsu was a longtime teacher at Maple Creek schools and continued to work as a substitute teacher until last spring.

Correction: This is the fourth sexual assault incident.
