One man in hospital, three charged with assault

Medicine Hat, AB–Three Medicine Hat men have been charged with assault following a disturbance that occurred during the afternoon of Nov. 8 in the 200 block of 2nd Street NE.

Officers responding to the area located a man who had been seriously assaulted and required treatment for his injuries. He is currently in hospital.

The MHPS Criminal Investigation Section investigated the matter and identified three suspects in connection to the incident. The men were arrested and face a number of charges including assault causing bodily harm. The accused range in age from 26 to 33 years old.

The three suspects remain in custody pending their next court appearance.
