Medicine Hat Mavericks release 2023 impact report

MEDICINE HAT, AB – The baseball season in Medicine Hat is long over, and Athletic park is partially covered in snow. However, today the Mavericks released their 2023 impact report.

This season, the Mavericks saw a 7.5 percent increase in total fan attendance numbers. The average for 28 regular season home games was 1,266.

There was an 11 percent increase in all three playoff games held at home. In total, playoff attendance was 4,849.

The most attended game was during the WCBL finals, with 2,196 fans present at game two against the Okotoks Dawgs.

In the report, the Mavericks also highlighted their 20 community appearances.This included the launch of the “Did you Play Today?” campaign to discuss the importance of elementary kids staying active.
