Canine Reflections opens haunted house

MEDICINE HAT, AB – Canine Reflections Haunted House will be open for three nights, starting tonight.

“We go for absolute horror scare tactics, we use every sense of the body. Sight, feelings, all that kind of stuff. We go for the big scares,” says Jaylene Drimes, the creator of the haunted house.

Canine Reflections has hosted a haunted house for the past four years. Drimes previously operated a haunted house in her yard, but quickly outgrew it.

She says although they have a smaller space, Canine Reflections is the scariest haunted house in the city, and they do it, simply for the love of Halloween.

“All money raised from this is all donation based, it is free for everybody to attend,” says Drimes. “So we offer pop and popcorn at the end, after we’re done scaring everybody and making them scream. Any money that is brought in during this goes to Big Brothers and Sisters.”
