OTTAWA — Lawyers for two “Freedom Convoy” organizers objected when an Ottawa woman testified in court, calling the protest an “occupation.”

The lawyers for Tamara Lich and Chris Barber, accused of mischief and counselling, objected to the use of the word, calling it inflammatory.

Zexi Li went to court to get an injunction against the “Freedom Convoy” last year and repeatedly referred to the demonstration an “occupation,” in her testimony today.
