MEDICINE HAT — A fall can pose a major threat to the well-being of older adults, and preventing falls among seniors is the focus of the next Seniors Safety Series at the Veiner Centre.
Alberta Health Services and the YMCA Living Fit Program will make presentations on risk factors and how to avoid tripping, slipping and falling.
Information on improving strength and balance will also be part of the seminar.
The presentation takes place on Thursday, October 19 from 9:45 am to noon, at the Veiner Centre on Woodman Avenue S.E. in Medicine Hat.
