Redcliff Rectangle set to reopen October 1

REDCLIFF, AB. — The Redcliff Rectangle arena will re-open on Sunday.

The town says this years renovation project went smoothly and was completed right on time.

The ice plant was started in the middle of September to prepare the new concrete pad for ice-making.

New boards , which they call “state of the art” have been installed and crews were painting inside the facility in preparation for it’s reopening on October 1.

The project had an anticipated cost of $1.1 million with funding coming by way of grants and some surplus town funds.
