Root Cellar Amazing Race for Hunger 50/50 tickets on sale

MEDICINE HAT, AB – The Root Cellar Food & Wellness Hub is ready for another amazing summer.

Tickets went on sale this week for the Amazing Race For Hunger 50/50 draw, which runs alongside the Root Cellar Amazing Race for Hunger event. The race runs on Aug. 19 and the 50/50 draw will happen during the livestream of the event at 4:30 p.m. All funds raised during the event will go to the Root Cellar’s Emergency Food Pantry Program.

The 50/50 winner will receive a min-cash prize of $2,000 or 50 per cent of ticket sales (whichever is greater) to a maximum of $10,000. The total pot currently sits at $320. Tickets are on sale until race day.
