Great Big Paddle set for Saturday

MEDICINE HAT, AB – The South Saskatchewan River through Medicine Hat will be filled with paddlers on Saturday for the eighth annual Great Big Paddle.

Paddlers of all ages and skill levels are welcome to ride the river on paddle boards, canoes, kayaks and more.

The launch will take place at Echo Dale Regional Park at noon and the paddling ends at Strathcona Island Park a few hours later.

Participants need to bring their floating apparatus and all necessary safety gear, water and snacks and sunscreen.
