WATCH: Parks and rec promoting trail use and etiquette for summer

MEDICINE HAT, AB – With a trail system more than 115 kilometres long and 330 days of sunshine each year the city’s trails are a popular spot these days.

The City of Medicine Hat’s parks and recreation department wants everyone to be safe and respectful on the trails and is hosting three events this summer to remind users that the trails are for everyone. The first of those goes Wednesday downtown at Towne Square.

Chris Brown spoke with Kara Brake about the plan for Wednesday and what the busy summer ahead for parks and rec in the city.
