Rob Robison will not return as Western Hockey League commissioner following the 2023/2024 campaign.
The season will be Robison’s 24th at the helm of the WHL.
Born in Saskatchewan, Robison joined as commish and CEO prior to the start of the 2000/2001 season, after spending nearly two decades as a senior exec with Hockey Canada.
He will go down as the longest-serving WHL commissioner, in recent years surpassing former league president Ed Chynoweth, who guided the Dub for 21 seasons.
