Two-day multi-genre music festival starts Friday at Mainliner Pub

MEDICINE HAT, AB – Musicians and bands from across Western Canada will make waves this weekend at Medicine Hat’s Mainliner Pub.

The multi-genre Alternative Waves Music Festival takes place June 16-17.

The lineup for the two-day festival includes local hip hop artist Dougie and thrash/death band Poke the Bear, Calgary metalcore band Die Another Day and Edmonton punk band Broken Yolks. In total more than 40 acts will be on the indoor and outdoor stages at the Mainliner.
