U15 SunDevils grab silver in LAX to the MAX tournament

MEDICINE HAT, AB – The SunDevils hosted a lacrosse tournament at Kinplex this weekend. They were able to pull a silver medal after a close loss to the Moose Jaw Mustangs.

In the U15 division, there were teams from Blackfalds, Lethbridge, Moose Jaw, and Calgary. The stands were mostly packed with SunDevils parents and supporters.

The SunDevils felt confident going into the game with a record of 19 wins, two ties and zero losses throughout the season, but a strong goalie performance from the Mustangs resulted in a 10-8 win for the out-of-town team.

While there was some disappointment, the team remained supportive of each other. Colin Chisholm has been on the SunDevils for three years. He says this year’s team is resilient and positive.

The next step for the SunDevils is to qualify for provincials. Qualifiers will take place in Medicine Hat starting June 25.
