Rolling Hills resident charged with assault

BROOKS, AB – Brooks RCMP apprehended a man in Rolling Hills, Alta. following an alleged assault near the hamlet last week.

RCMP say on April 5 they located the suspect hiding in the attic of a residence south of Rolling Hills after getting a report of a physical assault north of the hamlet earlier that day.

A Rolling Hills resident faces charges of assault with a weapon, possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose and uttering threats

A bail hearing was held and the suspect has been remanded to Alberta Court of Justice in Brooks.
