LETHBRIDGE, AB – Residents of southern Alberta will have two opportunities over the next several days to learn more about the provincial government’s plans and provide feedback.

The Government of Alberta has invited the public to participate in a series of town hall meetings with members of its cabinet.

The first one in southern Alberta will take place from 6:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Tuesday, April 11, focused on education.

People will be able to hear from and ask questions to both Minister of Education Adriana LaGrange and Minister of Advanced Education Demetrios Nicholaides.

Then on Tuesday, April 18, another telephone town hall will focus on Alberta’s economy.

Taking place from 6:30 p.m. to 8 p.m., it will feature Minister of Jobs, Economy and Northern Development Brian Jean; Minister of Trade, Immigration and Multiculturalism Rajan Sawhney; and Minister of Skilled Trades and Professions Kaycee Madu.

In order to participate in either town hall, the province said to simply wait on their call, assuming you are not on the national Do Not Call list. There will also be opportunities to take part online.
