FCSS Grant application for 2024-25 opens

MEDICINE HAT, AB – Proposals for Family and Community Support Services Grants are now being accepted.

Proposals must focus on preventative social services that benefit city residents for a two-year period from Jan. 1, 2024 to Dec. 31, 2025, says the City of Medicine Hat. Applicants must meet the criteria of FCSS and be a not-for-profit organization.

The following areas may receive funding for the 2024-25 period:

• Homelessness and Housing Insecurity
• Mental Health and Addiction
• Employment
• Family and Sexual Violence across the Lifespan
• Aging Well in Community

Proposals are being accepted until May 1 at 3 p.m. Virtual information sessions will take place April 3 and April 5 from noon to 1 p.m. for anyone who wants more information. The city says sessions can be accessed on Zoom by clicking on the date at the meeting time.
