Hounds junior team wins gold at Western Canada Sledge Hockey Championships

MEDICINE HAT, AB – Two Medicine Hat teams medalled in Calgary this past weekend at the Western Canada Sledge Hockey Championships.

Tara Chisholm, program coordinator of Medicine Hat Adaptive Sport and Recreation, says the Medicine Hat Hounds Junior (children’s) team won the gold medal after going a perfect 4-0 in the championships.

As well, the Medicine Hat Hounds Intermediate (adult) #1 Team won the bronze medal in the C Division.

Medicine Hat Hounds Intermediate #2 lost in a 12-round shootout in the wildcard game.
