Southern Alberta communities warn about wild dogs

Mar 18, 2023 | 11:45 AM

Two First Nations near Calgary are warning residents about roaming dogs and potential attacks.

Alrey Brass, a resident of Siksika Nation, says the dogs have got into his garbage, pursued him and bitten other residents.

Siksika Animal Services issued a warning that there have been several dog bites reported in the area late last year.

The Tsuut’ina Nation Police Service has also warned residents about some “vicious” dogs roaming on that First Nation.
