BROOKS, AB – After finishing atop the regular season standings it’s no surprise the Brooks Bandits are well-represented on the league’s year-end all-star teams.

The Bandits went 53-5-1-1 for 108 points this year to win the South Division by 27 points and the league by six. Three of the six positions on the South Division 2022-23 Viterra AJHL All-League Teams were claimed by members of the Bandits. Forward Aiden Fink, defenceman Sam Court and goaltender Ethan Barwick were voted to the teams by the league’s general managers and coaches.

The honours don’t stop there for Fink and Court.

Earlier in the month Fink won the AJHL Most Valuable Player Award and the Top Forward Award and ended the regular season as the scoring champion after recording 41 goals and 56 assists for 97 points.

Court was also named to the All-Rookie Team and is joined there by fellow Bandits freshmen Aiden Celebrini and Hudson Malinoski.

Winning the division in the regular season earned the Bandits a bye in the first-round of the playoffs. They are currently waiting to find out who they’ll play and when in the second round.
