Bisons defeat Cubs, inch closer to series win

MEDICINE HAT, AB – The Okotoks Carstar Bisons defeated the Medicine Hat Cubs 5-2 at Kinplex on Sunday afternoon.

With the win, Okotoks took a commanding 3-0 series lead over the Medicine Hat, who finds themselves on the brink of elimination.

Down 4-0 after two periods, the Cubs made a comeback effort that fell short, scoring a pair of third period goals that were met with one from the Bisons.

Medicine Hat Head Coach & GM, Randy Wong was displeased with his squads game three effort.

“I’m so disappointed with our performance tonight,” said Wong, post-game.
