MEDICINE HAT, AB – Medicine Hat grew quickly on Police Chief Alan Murphy.

So quickly that only two weeks after starting what was supposed to be an interim position for a few months, Murphy wanted the full-time job as the city’s top cop.

The new chief joined Dan Reynish on CHAT News at Noon to talk about his journey to the chief’s chair, his early impressions of the community and police service and priority areas for him at Medicine Hat Police Service.
