MEDICINE HAT, AB – Gas City Roller Derby’s Sasha Kolesnik has trouble putting her finger on one thing she loves about roller skating and roller derby.

Its fast pace, its physicality, and the individual and team dynamics are some of the things she lists before saying that “overall it’s a blast.”

Kolesnik joined Dan Reynish on CHAT News at Noon to talk about the public skate at the YMCA on Saturday, the group’s desire to share skating with the community and next weekend’s Naughty vs. Nice Live Roller Derby Invitational.
