Pregame: Wheat Kings at Tigers

MEDICINE HAT, AB – The Medicine Hat Tigers welcome the Brandon Wheat Kings to Co-op Place tonight in a battle of fifth-place teams.

The Tigers (5-9-3-1) hold down fifth spot in the Central Division while the Wheat Kings (7-11-2) are fifth in the East Division.

The two teams have met once already this season. The Tabbies scored a 5-1 victory over the Wheaties on Oct. 22 at Co-op Place, in what was the last win on home ice for the Tigers.

Andrew Basha has potted five goals and 11 assists this season to lead the Tigers in points. Oasiz Wiesblatt and Brenden Lee share the team lead in goals with eight apiece.

On the other side, Nate Danielson leads the Wheat Kings with eight goals, Brett Hyland is the assists leader at 12 and the pair share the team lead in points at 18.
