MEDICINE HAT, AB – The Medicine Hat Tigers hit the road for the second half of their home and home against the Moose Jaw Warriors.

The Tabbies fell short 5-4 in a shootout in the initial game between the two eastern conference squads. This is the second of the 4 games they will play against each other this season.

Following the loss, Medicine Hat holds a record of 4-9-3-1. Coming off their win last night the Warriors now sit 11-6-0-0 on the season.

Each team was able to convert on the powerplay in Friday’s matchup, but it was Moose Jaw that came out on top percentage-wise in that category. They converted on 1 of the 2 powerplays they received, and the Tigers only converted on 1 of the 5 they were awarded.

Despite the 20% conversion rate in that game the Tabbies powerplay is still ranked 9th in the WHL, scoring on 23.5% of their opportunities.

If able to get a win in this one Medicine Hat would snap a 7-game losing streak, and move into a tie for 10th in the eastern conference.

Puck drop is at 6:00 p.m. from the Moose Jaw Events Centre, you can hear all the action on Wild 94.5 with the voice of the Tigers Gino De Paoli.
