MEDICINE HAT, AB – Gamers are coming together on team #Dominicstrong on Nov. 5 at the Medicine Hat Lodge for the 10th annual Extra-Life Game Day.
For the first time since 2017, everyone is invited to a public event to play games and raise money for the Alberta Childrens’ Hospital, where Dominic Rooney spent most of his life before passing away from leukemia before his third birthday in 2015.
Dominic’s dad Sean joined Dan Reynish on CHAT News at Noon to talk about the positive influence Dominic still has on many people, how the local game day started and ways you can support Sean, his wife Trish and #Dominicstrong.
