Carbon price rebates to be in Albertans’ accounts on Friday

Residents of the three Prairie provinces and Ontario will receive their quarterly federal carbon price rebate payments tomorrow.
The rebates are coming as a new Leger poll suggests residents of the four provinces are the least likely in Canada to believe climate change is caused by human activity.
The poll also suggests residents of Manitoba, Saskatchewan and Alberta are less concerned about climate change than those who live in the rest of Canada.
The federal carbon tax has been implemented in the Prairie provinces and Ontario because they are the only provinces without a provincial levy that meets the federal standard.
