Police search for woman missing from southwestern Saskatchewan healing lodge

UPDATE: According to the Correctional Service of Canada Anna Rose Cook was apprehended by Saskatoon Police Service at about 7 p.m. on Sept. 26.

MAPLE CREEK, SK – An arrest warrant has been issued for a woman who is missing from a healing lodge in southwestern Saskatchewan.

According to the Correctional Service of Canada, staff were unable to locate Anna Rose Cook at the Okimaw Ohci Healing Lodge near Maple Creek, Sask. early on the afternoon of Sept. 23.

Cook, 30, is described as five-foot-six (168 cm) and about 123 pounds (56 kg). She has a fair complexion, blue eyes and blonde hair. She has a scar above her right eye, a “Darrell” tattoo on her right wrist and a “Lindgrin” tattoo on her lower right leg.

She is currently serving a two-year sentence in relation to numerous charges, including property, theft, identity documents and fleeing from police.

Anyone who has information on the whereabouts of Anna Rose Cook is asked to contact police.

Okimaw Ohci Healing Lodge is on the Nekaneet First Nation, about 30 kilometres southeast of Maple Creek, and about 140 km from Medicine Hat.
