Book of condolences for Royal Family available for signing at Medicine Hat Provincial Building
Local residents who would like to offer their condolences to the Royal Family following the death of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II have three options.
The Government of Alberta says people can provide handwritten condolences at the Medicine Hat Provincial Building, 346 Third Street SE, on weekdays from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Anyone who can’t make it to the provincial building can send messages of support through an online book of condolence, available at alberta.ca/QueenElizabethMemorial.
The province asks that do not bring flowers to leave at public buildings, as they will be removed to ensure safe access to the buildings and perimeter. Instead consider donating to a charity of your choice or to one of the many Canadian charities championed by Her Majesty, such as the Canadian Red Cross Society or Canadian Cancer Society, says the province.
