Tools for School gives a hand up to families in need
MEDICINE HAT, AB – Back to school should be an exciting time but finances can make it a stressful one for some families.
The United Way Tools for School program gives financially-challenged families a hand up for the school year, says Missy Fandrick, executive director of the United Way of South Eastern Alberta.
Students in families that need support are provided with a brand-new backpack filled with supplies like pencils, erasers, rulers and paper.
