Vandals cause $25,000 in damage to city property

MEDICINE HAT, AB – Medicine Hat police are investigating after 10 transit bus shelters were vandalized causing an estimated $25,000 in total damages.

A release from Medicine Hat Police Service says the glass on bus shelters located in the areas of College Drive, South Ridge Drive, Dunmore Road, and 13 Avenue SE were smashed by unknown person(s) the evening of July 31.

The investigation is ongoing and anyone with information that could assist in the investigation is asked to contact the Medicine Hat Police Service at 403-529-8481.
