Wind warning in effect for Medicine Hat, southern Alberta

Wind warnings have been issued across southern Alberta on Friday morning.

Environment Canada has warnings in place for the Medicine Hat-Bow Island Suffield region, as far west as the B.C. boundary and as far north as Calgary.

Strong winds with gusts up to 90 km/h will ease later this afternoon, says Environment Canada.

Localized blowing dust may also reduce visibility.
