Premier to make announcement about sustainable funding for HALO

MEDICINE HAT, AB — Premier Jason Kenney is scheduled to bring details this morning about sustainable funding for two air ambulance services in Alberta.

Kenney is to make the announcement at the HALO air ambulance hangar in Medicine Hat at 10 a.m.

The other service included in today’s announcement is HERO, which serves the Wood Buffalo region in Alberta’s oilsands area.

The premier, the health and agriculture ministers and Brooks-Medicine Hat MLA Michaela Frey are then scheduled to be at the Medicine Hat and District Chamber of Commerce event at the Cypress Centre.
