Police looking for information about an assault in Riverside

MEDICINE HAT, AB – The Medicine Hat Police Service is investigating an assault that took place on Sunday.

Officers responded to the 200 block of Third Street NE around 11 p.m. where numerous people were reported to be fighting.

When police arrived, all the people involved in the altercation had left the area but an injured male was located a short distance away.

The man was taken to hospital where he was treated and released.

Police are asking residents in the area to check security camera footage recorded around the date and time of the assault.
