SEATS committee aims to improve school zone safety
MEDICINE HAT, AB – Police officers were stationed outside George Davison School this morning but there was no cause for alarm.
Members of the Medicine Hat Police Service and others from the Southeastern Alberta Traffic Safety (SEATS) committee were helping make it a safe start to the day.
“We just want to be out here, be visible remind parents, remind kids the rules of the road, safe parking that sort of stuff. Because we just want people to get to school safely and enjoy the day,” says MHPS acting traffic Sgt. Darren Holeha.
