MEDICINE HAT, AB – His voice has been missing from the radio this season but long-time Medicine Hat Tigers play-by-play man Bob Ridley is still the minds of fans and the organization.

The team will pay tribute to Ridley prior to Saturday’s game at Co-op Place.

In a Facebook post the Tigers say they’ll unveil a special banner in Ridley’s honour and hand out a limited number of commemorative cards.

The doors open 6 p.m. and the presentation will take place shortly before 7 p.m.

Following the presentation the Tigers will take on the Lethbridge Hurricanes.

Ridley, who called his 4,000th Tigers game in February 2021, stepped back from the mic at the start of this season as he began undergoing radiation treatment in Lethbridge. Scott Roblin has filled in for Ridley this year.
